2024 · 2026
Golden, Colorado.
The 10th anniversary took ICGSM to the United States in 2024. The course returned to Golden for its 12th edition in 2026.
2014–2016 · 2025
Poppi, Tuscany.
The first three editions were held in Poppi. In 2025 the course returned to its origins for the “Back to the Future” edition.
2017–2019 · 2022–2023
Rome.
Five editions welcomed the monitoring community to Rome, including the return to in-person learning after the online edition of 2021.
2021
Connected. Online.
After the pause in 2020, the 7th ICGSM moved online in 2021, keeping the international exchange going.

2026 · Golden, Colorado · 12th edition
Monitoring methods and Pueblo Dam
The programme combined the monitoring lifecycle with project and technology challenges, followed by a field trip to Pueblo Dam.

2025 · Poppi, Italy · 11th edition
Poppi and the Poggio Baldi laboratory
The course returned to its historical home, with practical monitoring discussions and a day at the Poggio Baldi Landslide Monitoring Laboratory.

- A visit to the Poggio Baldi laboratory and discussion of the data collected there.
- Teamwork on monitoring applications, followed by project and technology challenges.

The 10th edition in Golden
The 10th edition in the United States explored monitoring across different engineering applications, alongside demonstrations by exhibitors.

Round tables on monitoring
Round tables brought different parts of the sector together to discuss monitoring for resilient natural and built environments.
